THE BENEFICIARIES

Since its inception, Winter Party Festival has provided vital funding for organizations serving the South Florida LGBT community. When the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force assumed responsibility for the Festival and the Miami Recognition Dinner, it committed to returning two-thirds of the net proceeds of these events to local service organizations through a grant-making process administered by the Dade Community Foundation.

Established in 1967, Dade Community Foundation is Greater Miami's permanent philanthropic endowment for enhancing the quality of life of all Miami-Dade County residents. The Foundation provides non-profit organizations with funding support and technical assistance for programs and projects that benefit the community. And for its many donors, the Foundation provides an effective vehicle for charitable giving and grant-making expertise across a broad spectrum of community issues and needs.

To date, the Task Force has returned over $650,000 to the local community through the Dade Community Foundation, benefiting the following organizations:
